Grilled Teriyaki Steaks and Fruit Salsa
Ingredients
1 large peach or 2 medium-sized plums--pit and dice
2 tablespoons low-sugar orange marmalade
2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
1 tablespoons lime juice
2 teaspoons finely chopped jalapenoDirections
Combine ingredients for salsa in a small mixing bowl.
Remove steaks from the plastic bags and discard the marinade. Grill steaks over medium-hot coals, uncovered for 14 - 20 minutes (for medium-rare to medium) or 22 - 25 minutes (for medium-well to well-done), turning occasionally. While steaks are cooking, drizzle a little additional marinade (about 2 tablespoons, total) on the steaks. When done, serve with salsa.
