I saw this product advertised on TV today, and it said to go on this website (diabetescareclub.com) to get more information on ordering. Well I am on the website and see nothing on ordering or the price. I have reynauds and have to test on my arms, and this device would be perfect.. So I do I find out how to order and how much?

i like this meter i just want to know i do i get the strips?
Date Posted 06/02/2011 7:13 pm | by ericka69

Meter works great. It is a little high tech and possibly subject to repair or maintenance needs, but I will cross that bridge when I get there. I would however suggest to other users to have a backup device handy, just in case.......

I am on Medicare. Here's a simple question. Does this meter require that I prick my finger? Does it require blood letting? yes or no?

I use this meter. Today, I went to use the meter, and I kept getting an ERROR 4 reading, not enough samlpe. This kept happening from more than 4-5 readings. I I went and opened another canister of strips, thinking they were old, this did not change my readings. I placed the meter and the strips on the stove, thinking maybe they were cold. This did not work either. Then I left everything alone and went to take my insulin (sp?). I knew I need to take my insulin before I ate. I did so, and then I ate. About an hour, after I ate, I tried the meter again, and the same strips again, I got a reading. You see, I think the meter was cold, and needed to be room tempature, before it could give a true reading. I left the meter and the strips in the kitchen where they were near more heat. This I believe this was the problem why I kept getting an ERROR 4 reading. I know this may sound strange to the readers, but you see I had this problem with some other meters during the winter months only., so it is not strange to me that once I put the meter near a place where it could become warmer in the room tempature, then it worked as it once worked, when I first got it.
