I Guess I Wrote All About Myself,And And Didn,t Even Write In That I Do Have Diabetes Type 2 I Have Had It For At Least 5 Years,When I Went To The Dr My Sugar Was 511,I Had Sugar In My Urine,My A1C Was16,They Figured I Had Had It Proubly At Least A Year Or More Before Coming In To The Drs Office.Since Then I Have Been Taking Oral Meds And Shots Morning And At Nite. Have Got My Insulin Down 2 15 Units Both Morning And Nite,And My Sugar Is Running Close To 120 All The Time,Times It Does Bottom Out And I,ll Get Weak And Shaky,And If I Do Eat Somthing Sweet I Shouldn,t It Has Gone Up To Close To 200 But Always Comes Down. I Know If I Would Loose Some Wate It Would Help. Thanks For Reading Rich

Wow! It sounds like you are getting things really under control. Remember, the more consistent you are with your diabetes management, ie. eating, carbohydrate consistency at meals and activity and consistency with medications, the less likely to have low blood sugars (hypoglycemia) and the more likely you are at maintaining a good blood sugar.
I wish you continued control in the management of your diabetes.
