Question

Hi, I am interested in my eating habits. Since I have started the portion eating, I am full after about five spoonfuls of my meal, is that normal?

Congratulations! You are doing what we call "mindful eating" . When we develop an awareness of what we are eating and how much, we become more in tuned with our own satiety (feeling of fullness). If you use your mind to tell you when you are full and then stop eating, you have achieved a life of control with your food and it helps you realize when you are eating to nourish your body and when you are eating to fulfill an emotional need. Great work! Stay with it and pay attention to your bodies cues. It also helps to keep a food journal of what you ate, how much and how you felt during the day.
