Amy's Answer

Wow! Sounds like you have already lost some weight. Good for you! It now sounds like you are at a stand still and have plateaued and are wanting the weight loss to continue. I do have a couple of questions to your question. What type of insulin are you on? Have you had any low blood sugars as a result of your weight loss? Usually with weight loss, people require less insulin. I am interested in if you are only on a basal insulin to manage your diabetes. My suggestion for you with the little information that I have is that you need to persevere. This is the time frame that people give up and regain lost weight and all efforts are lost. Be patient. If you are having low blood sugars from your weight loss, you may need a decrease in your insulin. I never like to hear that people are eating to keep up with their insulin.
Continue with your lifestyle changes, keep doing what you are doing and the weight will come off.
You have come this far, continue on your journey.
Good Luck and congratulations on your weight loss!
