Frozen Peppers Make Great Sauce
I've written before about the joys of having an awesome blender.
Here's another one:
If you find a good buy on peppers (a like spicy banana peppers or jalapenos), stock up and freeze them whole (just trim off the stems).
Then whenever you need a snappy sauce, pop a whole, frozen pepper into your blender with some Greek yogurt and a little salt and pepper, and presto!
You have a healthy, spicy, and delicious dip for veggies, a spread for a wrap, a sauce to toss with drained, canned chickpeas or roasted sweet potatoes, or a filling or topping for an omelet.
